Add Rachel McAdams to the list of celebrities supporting Occupy Wall Street.
Having been photographed amongst protestors in the off-shoot Occupy Bay Street in Toronto in October, the "Midnight in Paris" and "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" star spoke about the movement in her new cover interview in Glamour Magazine.
"I wanted to educate myself. People have said it's unfocused, but I appreciate that there are so many different groups coming together peacefully, saying there are things that are broken in the system, and we need to put our heads together," she told the magazine.
Lest anyone cast her as a rich, out of touch Hollywood star, McAdams also revealed that she comes from humble roots, including a three year gig working at McDonalds. Of course, it wasn't a career highlight.
"It was a great place to work, but I had a little bit of an OCD thing with hand washing and just didn't have time," she remembered. "They were like, 'Hey, the drive-through's backing up. Stop washing your hands!' I was not a great employee; I broke the orange juice machine one day."
Along with McAdams, stars such as Alec Baldwin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Russell Simmons, Anne Hathaway and Mark Ruffalo visited the protests while they were active on an every day basis.
McAdams will next be seen in the romantic drama "The Vow" with Channing Tatum.
