For her spring 2012 collection, the queen of frocks and frills Anna Sui kept put out a line of creations that had no shortage of that girly flair for which she's known for. During these cold winter days we're looking for that burst of spring-inspired color to get us through and this casual and cool outfit with its boldly colored flower petals really caught our eye. There's always something edgy about her creations, and the wild floral motif in this ensemble got us thinking about how we can use primary colors in unexpected ways in our homes. We're thinking both big and small here like papering one wall with a busy pattern in red, green and yellow for a major jolt of color and piling in a handful of pillows, throws and ceramics in bright primary hues. Pick two or three colors from this palette and give it a whirl, the results might surprise you.

Find out where you can get these colors for your house below:
Red, 2000-10, Benjamin Moore
Funky Yellow, SW6913, Sherwin-Williams
Ship's Harbor, B52-4, Sherwin-Williams
Hazel, SW6471, Sherwin-Williams
Arsenic, No. 214, Farrow & Ball
Good Luck Charm, CI23, Valspar
