Giants vs. Falcons LIVE UPDATES: NFL Playoffs Wild Card Round Game 3

Giants vs. Falcons Live Updates

The NFC East champions New York Giants host the Atlanta Falcons in the second NFC Wild Card game on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Despite having four consecutive winning seasons (three of which included 10 or more wins), the Falcons have yet to win a playoff game with head coach Mike Smith on the sideline and star quarterback Matt Ryan under center. Last year, Atlanta was the No. 1 seed, but fell to the eventual Super Bowl champs Green Bay Packers at home. Led by Ryan and bruising running back Michael Turner -- who rushed for a quiet 1,340 yards and 11 touchdowns -- will have to get Atlanta's first playoff win since 2004 on the road.

The G-Men didn't necessarily back into the postseason. But their playoff chances went down to the last game of the season in a battle for the NFC East title against the Dallas Cowboys. Led by Super Bowl XLII MVP Eli Manning and emerging stud receiver Victor Cruz, the Giants are No. 5 in the league in passing yards per game and face a defense that is 20th in the league pass defense.

Will Matt Ryan finally get his first playoff win? Or will the Giants take care of business on their home field and advance to the Divisional Round?

Stay tuned here for live updates throughout the game and tweet to @HuffPostSports to join in the conversation.
