There have been plenty of fierce competitions on "Toddlers & Tiaras" (Wed., 10 p.m. EST on TLC), but perhaps none so totally fierce as the one between Hailey and her uncle and godfather D.J. Pierce, a.k.a. drag performer "Shangela."
Hailey's mom Shemanda is hoping that "RuPaul's Drag Race" star Shangela will help her daughter "become more fierce a diva," so she stages a backyard "walk-off" where the two glamazons go head-to-head.
Both girls look completely fabulous, of course, and work it in front of the assembled family and friends, but in the end it's winning that matters most here. Who took home the title and huge crown? The tough crowd voted almost unanimously for nine year-old Hailey.
As Shemanda put it, "Shangela was good, but Hailey was better."
"Toddlers & Tiaras" airs Wednesdays, 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
