Ben Franklin's Drunk Dictionary

Today is Ben Franklin's 306th birthday.

If anyone deserves a toast, it's Franklin, but if you drink a little too much, perhaps one of the phrases he coined for his "Drinker's Dictionary" will describe your condition.

The lengthy list of expressions meaning "inebriated" was first published by Franklin in the Pennsylvania Gazette on January 6, 1737.
