For the girl or guy who wants to practice safe sex -- which should be all of us -- that's a little snazzier, Rebecca Minkoff's new line of condoms in conjunction with Proper Attire hits stores this week.
And in true Minkoff style, the condoms, which were first introduced during Rebecca's spring 2012 fashion show, come in a variety of printed wrappers: leopard (the basic condom), polka dots ("a fun, bubbly texture that will put a smile on your face") and zebra print (the "Sheer"). A 3-pack is selling for $5.99.
Other designers who've created posh prophylactics for Proper Attire include Alexander Wang, Charlotte Ronson and Vena Cava. Jeremy Scott also introduced a line of colorful condoms, on which Lady Gaga famously collaborated and endorsed.
And then there's Marc Jacobs and Chanel, who made their own luxe rubbers apropos of nothing but a concern for stylistas to, uh, wrap it up chicly.
