She said no to a "Bridesmaids" sequel, but it looks like Kristen Wiig is saying yes to Ben Stiller.
Last year, Stiller announced that he would be directing and starring in an adaptation of James Thurber's short story and remake of Danny Kaye's 1947 film "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty." In the film, Stiller will play Walter, a magazine photo manager in need of adventure. Luckily, the seemingly tragic loss of a negative sends him on a whirlwind journey -- in his imagination.
Here's where Wiig comes in: According to The Hollywood Reporter, The "Bridesmaids" star is in negotiations to play Walter's co-worker and the woman of his dreams.
Wiig spent the summer working on indie projects "Revenge Of The Jolly" with Elijah Wood and "Imogen" with Annette Benning and Darren Criss. "Walter Mitty" will be her first big studio film since "Bridesmaids."
Stiller plans to start filming in April. For more on Walter Mitty, click over to The Hollywood Reporter.
