Mother/Daughter Duo Elisa Goodkind And Lily Mandelbaum Of 'Stylelikeu' Explore Fashionable Closets (PHOTOS)

Mother/ Daughter Duo Give Closet Tours

Stylelist is about all kinds of fashion for all kinds of women. So in our Stylelist Blogger Network (which you should check out if you haven't already), we've teamed up with some of our best style bloggers and sites. Over the following weeks, we'll be introducing you to its members with these Q&As.

We are happy to present to you Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum, the mother/daughter duo behind Stylelikeu:

What's your one fashion regret?
Elisa: Giving away my amazing clothes from the '80s. Eventually your clothes will become the best vintage. My advice: don't give them away!

Who influences your style?
Lily: Everyone we work with at the Stylelikeu office, and the people we feature on our site.

If you could shop at one store for the rest of your life what would it be?
Lily: Local Clothing, a vintage store in NYC's East Village that has loads of ethnic clothing from all over the world.

Who are your favorite designers?
Elisa: Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester and Comme des Garcons.

What are the five essentials in your closet?
Lily: A printed dress, mocassin boots, turquoise ring, black tights and long, thick cardigan.
Elisa: My Balenciaga boots, jodphurs, piles of rings, men's button-down shirt and Rick Owens leather jacket.

Who takes your photographs?
Lily: My mom and I take all of the photos on Stylelikeu.

Why did you start your blog?
Lily: We started Stylelikeu because we felt that fashion and style had become two separate entities and wanted to connect the personality to the clothing. The site celebrates individuality and storytelling through clothing.

What are your interests aside from blogging?
Elisa: I don't have time to do anything else but manage Stylelikeu!

Can you explain the title of your blog?
Lily: The name Stylelikeu is about embracing your personal style and not trying to be anyone else but yourself. :)

Describe your perfect outfit
Elisa: Edwardian man meets rocker chick.

Meanwhile, check out ten recent Stylelikeu subjects we're totally inspired by in the slideshow below.
