Andrew Bird is back to his word-playing, whistling ways on his first single off his forthcoming album, Break It Yourself. On "Eyeoneye," Bird doesn't stray too far from his sound on Noble Beast, but there are some new arrangements here hinting at a new direction for his sixth album. The track also does one of our favorite things artists do on albums -- hides the album title somewhere in the lyrics, instead of billboarding it in a song title. Here, we discover a little more about the meaning behind Break It Yourself when Bird croons, slightly more nasally than usual, "No one can break your heart/So you break it yourself."
