Mitt Romney On Newt Gingrich's Media Attacks: 'It's Very Easy' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Mitt Romney Derides Newt Gingrich's Media Attacks

Mitt Romney dismissed Newt Gingrich's attacks on the media during an appearance on Wednesday's "Fox and Friends."

Gingrich has made great hay out of lambasting the media and the questions he has been asked at the many, many different GOP debates during the 2012 campaign. Over the last week-and-a-half, his denunciations of CNN's John King and Fox News' Juan Williams helped boost his standing considerably.

On Wednesday, co-host Steve Doocy pointed these things out to Romney. The former Massachusetts governor lambasted this strategy.

"It's very easy to talk down a moderator," he said. "The moderator asks a question and then has to sit by and take whatever you send to them. And Speaker Gingrich has been wonderful at attacking the moderators and attacking the media. That's always a favorite response for the home crowd but it's very different to have candidates go against candidates, and that's something I'll be doing against President Obama if I get the chance to be our nominee."
