Northrop Buzzer Beater: Indiana High School Sinks Full-Court Tip-In To Win Game (VIDEO)

High School Team Sinks Amazing Full-Court Tip-In At Buzzer

Christian Laettner, eat your heart out.

Last month during a high school basketball game between Northrop and Northland in Indiana, Northrop's squad pulled off one of the more unlikely buzzer beaters you'll ever see.

With just .5 seconds left and the game tied at 64, Spencer Cowherd of Northrop tossed the ball the length of the court to his surprisingly open teammate Carter Rump, who elevated to make the tip-in just before the buzzer. The fans in attendance went wild (wouldn't you?) as the team rushed the court college-style to celebrate.

But if you want an idea of how good the high school basketball is in Indiana, this buzzer beater didn't even secure the nod for top play of the week in a poll set up by Indiana News Center.
