This week's edition of Athlete Tweets of the Week features some of the build up to the biggest athletic event of the year, as well as several brief homages to two admittedly less crucial ones. Wes Welker, Victor Cruz and Shane Vareen were among the members of the Patriots and Giants to express their excitement at playing in the upcoming Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Brandon Marshall took some time away from catching touchdowns at the Pro Bowl (he had four total) to tweet about one catch in particular that became the talk of Honolulu. In addition, several player's chimed in on the NHL All Star game in Ottawa. And, as always, Logan Morrison of the Florida Marlins tweeted about absolutely whatever he wanted to and it was pretty funny.
We've once again scoured our timeline from the past week to bring you what we believe to be the best of the best that athletes have to offer via Twitter. Vote on which athlete you believe had this week's best tweet. The winner will be given remarkable Interweb cred and 140 characters worth of salutations via the @HuffPostSports Twitter account.
Last week's champion tweet was typed by Terrence Williams of the Houston Rockets, who described his attitude towards anyone who has more followers than him.
Because he clearly wants some more followers, please give Terrence a follow @TheRealTWill and vote on this week's nominees for tweet of the week above.
