We've been wondering what designer and the queen of Hollywood Regency decor, Kelly Wearstler, has been up to...and how her Beverly Hills house is doing on the market. Turns out there's been a bit of a downturn there.
Nonetheless, we're thrilled to find that it hasn't slowed down Kelly with her design work. Thanks to our friends at Curbed, we get a sneak peek inside a new home that Kelly recently designed in the Hollywood Hills in California. You can trace Kelly's decorator touch throughout the house, which include mirrored metal armchairs and a large overarching floor lamp in the living room, jewel-tone cushions and pillows, and a dining room that's anchored by a hot pink round area rug (very Kelly, indeed).
However, we have to say it's nothing like her own lavishly decorated home. And quite frankly we're a little surprised that no one has snatched it up yet. It's great to see that Kelly's keeping pace, but perhaps it's time to give the sale more thought and put fashion and decorating on pause?
