Jon Stewart Mocks Lou Dobbs, Fox News On 'Daily Show' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Lou Dobbs Awkwardly Gushes Over GOP Primary

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs appeared on "The Daily Show" Monday night to discuss the economy and the 2012 GOP primary race. Stewart started off the interview with a few Fox News jabs, which Dobbs took in stride.

Stewart asked Dobbs, "How's things going business-wise?" Dobbs said, "Going great, going absolutely great at Fox Business."

"Oh ok, but not the economy, you're talking about Fox Business," Stewart said. Dobbs then expanded his answer. He said that he thought the economy had reached a turning point last October and that things are improving slowly. Stewart asked, "How will Fox Business News blame that on Obama? Will it be difficult?"

"President Obama has all his causal relationships already established, we just report the facts," Dobbs answered. "Oh, now when did that start?" Stewart asked.

Stewart then asked Dobbs to weigh in on the GOP primary race. Dobbs described the race as "interesting, galvanizing, compelling, entertaining...this is really good stuff!"

"But in the way that 'Fear Factor' is," Stewart said. "There's nobody emerging that feels statesman-like. It's more like 'oh my gosh, he just ate a bull testicle!'"
