Don Shula, Larry Csonka To Headline Crystal's "NFL Legends" Cruise

Don Shula To Host NFL Legends Cruise

If you're a fan of his coaching and his steak, then Don Shula's cruise is for you. The former coach of the Miami Dolphins will be headlining a trans-Atlantic sailing of the Crystal Serenity this May, according to the cruise line.

Shula will be joined by Larry Csonka, Hall of Fame All-Pro running back for Shula's undefeated Miami Dolphins and the NY Giants plus "The Dean of NFL Referees," Jim Tunney and Coach Dick Vermeil of UCLA, the Chiefs, the Eagles and the Rams.

Guests will enjoy individual talks held by each, in which they will share "inspiring personal stories from decades on the field, as well as hard-won tools for success in any field." They will also team up for "Ocean Views" panels to discuss their sports opinions and predictions for next season. The audience will also be able to participate anonymously via new electronic polling devices.

The NFL Legends cruise sets sail May 8 from New York en route to Dover. Ports of call include Newport, Rhode Island; Boston, Massachusetts; St. John's, Newfoundland; Reykjavik and Heimaey, Iceland, Torshavn/Faeroe Islands, Denmark; Alesund, Hellesylt/Geiranger and Bergen, Norway; and London/Dover. Fares start at $5,055.

This isn't Shula's first rodeo, though -- he's done this cruise before. Take a look at some other celebs who have taken to the high seas.
