PHOTOS: Grammy Performances

From Taylor Swift's clever lyric addition during "Mean" -- "someday I'll be singing this at the Grammys" -- to Rihanna and Coldplay hitting the stage for their duet "Princess Of China," the performers at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards certainly brought their A-game Sunday.

Katy Perry showed her fiery side, Bruno Mars brought out his inner-hooligan and the dynamic combination of Maroon 5, Foster the People and the Beach Boys made us yearn for summer and the good old days -- and left us asking the question: where's Uncle Jesse?

The most anticipated performances of the night were arguably Jennifer Hudson's last minute addition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," -- after the legend tragically passed away on the eve of the Grammys -- and the long awaited return of Adele. The singer underwent throat surgery last year and had the world holding their breath during her 4:09 minute performance of "Rolling In The Deep." Based on the buzz on Twitter and social media sites everywhere, something tells us the standing ovation she received in the Staples Center was shared in living rooms across the country.

From comebacks and reunions to show-stopping acrobatics and dancing, the performances during the 2012 Grammys were certainly something to cheer, applaud and tweet about it.
