Brittany Molina, BYU Student, Given Outrageous Valentine's Day Note (VIDEO)

You Won't Believe The Note This College Student Received On Valentine's Day

Brittany Molina, a student at Brigham Young University in Utah, had an eventful Valentine's Day.

According to KSTU-FOX 13, Molina was studying in a library cubicle on Tuesday when a mystery man tapped her on the shoulder and gave her a note.

"I was like, oh, cute! It's Valentine's day. He's giving me a love note," she said, describing the incident to KSTUS's Max Roth (video above).

But it was far from a love note. Molina tweeted a picture of the letter, which read:

"You may want to consider that what you're wearing has a negative effect on men (and women) around you. Many people come to this university because they feel safe, morally as well as physically, here. They expect others to abide by the Honor Code that we all agreed on. Please consider your commitment to the Honor Code (which you agreed to) when dressing each day. Thank you."

Molina then followed up, tweeting a picture of her outfit, which consisted of a dress, cardigan and tights:

All students who attend BYU, which was founded and is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or the Mormon Church, must observe the school's Honor Code.

When it comes to women's dress, BYU's Honor Code reads, in part:

Clothing is inappropriate when it is sleeveless, strapless, backless, or revealing; has slits above the knee; or is form fitting. Dresses, skirts, and shorts must be knee-length or longer. Hairstyles should be clean and neat, avoiding extremes in styles or colors.

Molina seemed to take the whole incident in stride, tweeting "i was upset at first but its actually sooo funny. whatever. hopefully the guy saw it by now!"

The Mormon university, which according to KSTU refused to comment on the incident, found itself in the news last week when a video surfaced of a comedian in blackface asking students about Black History Month.
