The 27-year-old reality star displayed wisdom beyond her years on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Thursday when discussing her husband Lamar Odom's trade to the Dallas Mavericks.
First, Khloe Kardashian defended Odom's public displays of anguish (while slipping in some major brags) by explaining that her husband "wears his heart on his sleeve."
"It's not Dallas," said Kardashian. "Lamar was upset, I think, that he was a trade in general. Lamar is very emotional. He wears his heart on his sleeve," she continued. "He was with the Lakers for seven years, won two championships with them, was first Laker to ever win 6th Man Of The Year..."
Jimmy Kimmel, who is a rabid Lakers fan, admitted he was infuriated when Odom's trade was announced. "Were you upset? Were you angry at the Lakers? I was angry at the Lakers!" said the host.
But Kardashian responded gracefully, saying that the Lakers made a business decision that doesn't reflect on her husband's character. She also thanked Lakers fans for giving Odom a standing ovation when he returned to the Staples Center as a Maverick earlier this year.
We have to admit we're going to miss Khloe now that she's living full time in Dallas, and we know that the Lakers sure could use Odom's Sixth Man skills. Luckily for us, they'll be appearing on the small screen soon enough with the new season of "Khloe And Lamar," this Sunday on E!. Unluckily for the Lakers, Odom is still with the Dallas Mavericks.
