People likely know Audrina Patridge from her reality TV roles, including her stints on "The Hills" and "Dancing With the Stars," but don't think she'll be sticking with reality TV forever. Patridge told The Huffington Post that she hopes to become a bona fide actress in the near future.
"Right now I have been reading a lot of scripts and taking a lot of acting classes and trying to spend the past three to four months under the radar," Patridge said.
The reality star's résumé already includes roles in the slasher film "Sorority Row" and the straight-to-DVD surfer flick "Into the Blue 2: The Reef," but she told HuffPost she plans to aim a little higher with her next movies.
"I would love to do a period piece [set] in the 18th century because I love all that medieval stuff," she said. (Because she was so earnest, we felt no need to discuss the anachronism.)
"I would also like to do a romantic comedy, nothing too serious," Patridge continued. "I love everything that Cameron Diaz has done in romantic comedies and comedies."
Patridge even has some of her potential leading men already lined up -- and the 26-year-old admitted she likes her men a little more on the mature side.
"It would depend on what kind of romantic comedy, because you can go so many different ways, but I mean Adam Sandler would be hilarious and so would Will Ferrell," she said.
Of course, if her film career doesn't pan out, Patridge has other projects in the works, including being the current face of the fragrance Curve Appeal for Men.
"When I meet a guy, I remember how they smell," Patridge said, adding, "Like major B.O. ... You just kind of try not to gag and hold your breath and walk away."
Patridge also said she may follow in the footsteps of her fellow "Hills" cast mate Whitney Port and try to break into fashion design.
"I am working on a lingerie line with one of my best friends," she said. "I just have so many girlfriends who can never find that special bra or underwear and I love lingerie, so I just want to give women what they want with a sexy twist."
