Brooke Mueller Released From Rehab

After three months of treatment at Cirque Lodge, Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is ready to get back to her normal life.

Mueller's rep Steve Honig, told RadarOnline his 34-year-old client successfully completed an intensive three-month drug and alcohol treatment program.

"Brooke returned to Los Angeles yesterday and has immediately begun an aggressive outpatient program that includes a sober companion," he said. "Brooke is feeling better than ever before, and is committed to continuing treatment for as long as necessary to maintain her total and complete sobriety."

The actress and mother of twin boys entered rehab in early December after she was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, for cocaine possession and assault charges.

It's not the first time Mueller has been to rehab, but sources say her stay at Utah's Cirque Lodge has been her longest. According to an insider, Mueller participated in day programs during her previous attempts at treatment. Her enrollment in a residential program where she wasn't able to make decisions about how she was going to be treated made all the difference.

"She needed long term residential treatment and she got it," the source told RadarOnline. "Brooke is very hopeful for her future, and wants to focus on her recovery and sobriety and being the best mom she can be to her twin toddler sons."
