Jessica Chastain has walked the red carpet plenty of times in her career, but her biggest stroll to date will be this Sunday, when the nominated starlet walks the red carpet at the Oscars.
One would assume that prepping for the Oscars is no easy task. It must take hours for a mega-star like Chastain to get ready, right? On the contrary. "The Help" starlet recently told Grazia:
"It takes about two hours. I’m actually a bit jealous because people assume I get a facial or a massage and I don’t! That sounds awesome though...If it’s a big event with jewelry and stuff, it can take up to two and a half hours, spending two hours on hair and make-up and then the last half hour putting on my dress and jewelry."
While Chastain seems very laid back when it comes to award shows, choosing a dress based on an "emotional reaction," there is one thing she'll never wear on the red carpet: flats! Chastain even admits to wearing heels to a preimere tour for "The Help" after she broke her leg:
"I never wore flats! I wore my heels with my crutches. People laughed at me quite a bit but whatever. I will never be the girl who walks out carrying my high heel shoes when I'm wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress. I just can’t be!"
