U.S. Secretary Of Education Schools Celebs At Hoops

On a night when Jeremy Lin was expected to be the star, it was another Harvard hoopster that stole the spotlight. During the 2012 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, the least likely celeb in uniform took the rappers, actors, comedians and even a few NBA legends to school.

The "celebrity" who had Twitter buzzing most during the exhibition game in Orlando was U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, who used his moment in the spotlight to draw attention to the dropout rate.

The 47-year-old Duncan went off for 17 points 8 rebounds and 5 dimes in leading the East squad to a convincing triumph. Having played college basketball at Harvard, Duncan dominated the first half and provided the highlight of the night with a spinning, over-the-shoulder pass to rapper J. Cole, who couldn't finish the lay-up.

Basketball fans immediately took to Twitter to talk about Duncan's unexpected tour-de-force performance -- and, in some cases, suggest that their favorite team see if he's willing to jump from the Department of Education to the NBA. Here are some of the top tweets:
