Katie Ermilio, Designer, Shares Her Favorite Hand-Me-Downs (PHOTOS)

In a new Stylelist column called "My Favorite Hand-Me-Down," we'll dig deep into the closets of celebrities and fashion insiders as they reveal their most precious passed-down or vintage pieces and hear the tales behind them. Whether bequeathed by a relative or a friend, we're looking for hand-me-downs with a special story to be told. Have a look at the Stylelist staff's favorite Hand-Me-Downs

At 26, Katie Ermilio already has an impressive amount of experience. The designer's been making clothes since the age of 12, she was a favorite around the offices of Vogue as an intern, and she's got an incredible family background that has provided her with determination and a keen eye for what women really want to wear. Her grandfather Arthur was one of Grace Kelly's personal clothiers, and Ermilio in Philadelphia, now run by her father, is a very well-respected bespoke men's shop. With such deep roots in fashion, it's no surprise that this stylish wunderkind has some very special vintage pieces with wonderful, and inspiring, stories behind them.
