Living Alone Sounds Like Heaven For Parents

As a mom, have you ever secretly dreamed about having your own place? You know -- as in running away and living alone in a space that is totally and completely yours? It's okay to admit it. It's not like any of us are going to think less of you or wonder whether or not you truly love your family, because the truth is that we've all probably fantasized about living on our own a time or two. (Or 10, or 20).

Of course, living alone kind of forces you to decompress and really take a long, hard look at yourself and all your eccentricities -- and apparently can even make you quirkier. But then again, those charming little quirks are sometimes the things we tend to forget or lose when we become parents, right? And maybe that's the whole reason why spending some quality time on our own sounds so incredibly appealing after we've spent so many of our days and nights taking care of someone else.
