A grocery store manager turned into a punching bag for a customer who didn’t want to pay for his merchandise Monday afternoon.
Miami-Dade Police say the incident began at the Publix at Market Square in Kendall when the manager spotted the customer trying to walk out of the store without paying. When confronted, the man threw the manager to the ground, punching him repeatedly before taking off on a black bicycle.
Investigators aren’t sure in which direction the man rode off, but are hoping someone recognizes him from surveillance images.
“This person is obviously very aggressive and we want to be able to identify and locate him a soon as possible before he does this to somebody else,” Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told WSVN.
