With her always-stunning red carpet style, Ashley Benson was an obvious choice for the cover of Teen Vogue's prom blowout issue. The 22-year-old actress looks pretty in a pastel dress and soft springtime makeup on the cover of the magazine's April 2012 issue.
In her recent Teen Vogue interview, Ashley talked about everything from her first kiss to her longtime boyfriend Ryan Good to her post-PLL plans. Now, as Pretty Little Liars gears up for the season 2 finale -- when A's identity will finally be revealed -- Ashley is looking towards the future.
Although Ashley rose to fame playing Hanna Marin, the blonde quarter of the Pretty Little Liars foursome -- the most tweeted-about show of 2011 -- it's safe to say that Ashley won't be known as just a one-hit wonder. With a devoted fanbased and Twitter following of over 700,000, the Pretty Little Liars star has given us all reason to believe that her fame will outlive the show. In fact, she's already begun her transition to movies, and is currently filming Spring Breakers with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens.
"I always get offered the pretty, popular girl roles," she said to Teen Vogue. "But I want to do something dark, really challenge myself and get out of my comfort level."
In real life, Ashley was never that girl -- she said that she was often picked on in school and felt left out. To make things more awkward, Ashley had her first kiss at age 15 on the set of soap opera Days Of Our Lives. "The guy playing my boyfriend was in his 20s," she told Teen Vogue. "I was like, 'This is my first real kiss. So don't be creepy!' Everybody on set thought it was the cutest thing."
