'Fancy Fast Food' Book Elevates Fast Food To Haute Cuisine

You don't often hear "fancy" and "fast food" in the same sentence. But where there's a will, there's a way, and writer/designer Erik R. Trinidad (who reviews new fast food items for The Huffington Post) has successfully managed to combine the two. On his blog, FancyFastFood.com, Trinidad makes fast food look good by transforming these rather ugly foods into haute cuisine through some pretty intricate food styling. Now, he's got himself a book. This isn't a book for your coffee table though -- it's more of a cookbook parody than an actual cookbook (though his fancy fast food creations do include recipes).

The slideshow below previews some of Trinidad's creations, with both "before" and "after" shots. All photos and (tongue-in-cheek) slideshow text by Erik R. Trinidad.
