LeBron James' Half Court Buzzer Beater In Heat-Nets Game (VIDEO)

LeBron James had no problem taking the last shot at the end of the third quarter on Tuesday night.

With the Miami Heat already leading the New Jersey Nets by 29 in the closing seconds of the third quarter, the two-time NBA MVP deliberately dribbled up the court and launched a shot just after he crosses the half court line. The ball banked in at the buzzer to give Miami 34 points in the quarter.

Unlike certain late-game situations lately, James was never looking to pass before this buzzer sounded.

Just like he did during the 2011 NBA Finals, James has received plenty of criticism recently for not dominating endgame situations. After putting all of his mighty gifts on display during the All-Star game in Orlando, James managed to leave the game with a bad taste in his mouth after opting not to take his team's final shot and throwing a pass that was intercepted by Blake Griffin. Shortly thereafter, he passed up a potential game-winning shot against Utah to give the ball to Udonis Haslem, who missed a jumper at the buzzer.

Fortunately for James, there was no high stakes shoot-pass decision that needed to be made. The Heat were up by as many as 40 points during the fourth quarter and went on to win 108-78.
