'The Voice' Adds Another Hour, Sets Finale Date

With the success of "The Voice," NBC recently announced that it will expand the singing competition to two nights for the live shows starting on April 2.

The live performance shows will air for two hours on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST with the eliminations announced during an one-hour results show airing on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.

NBC has also announced that the final live show will air on Monday, May 7, while the winner will be announced during a two-hour live finale on Tuesday, May 8, both at 8 p.m. EST.

Meanwhile, "America's Got Talent," NBC's top-rated summer series, will premiere Season 7 the following week with two-hour episodes on Monday, May 14 and Tuesday, May 15 at 8 p.m. EST. The show's return will feature the first appearance of new judge Howard Stern, who joins fellow judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne.
