The No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats will arrive at New Orleans Arena as the team to beat while the rest of the teams at the 2012 SEC Tournament have four days to try to accomplish that feat. Actually, those other SEC ballclubs only have three days as Kentucky has earned a first round bye and will first take the court on Friday alongside the winner of the LSU-Arkansas matchup in the first round on Thursday.

Having gone undefeated in conference play, Kentucky is the overwhelming favorite to cut down the nets in the Big Easy. After the Wildcats, oddsmakers favored Florida and Vanderbilt.
