'Late Late Show': Susan Sarandon On Her Kids' Reaction To Seeing Her Almost Nude Onscreen (VIDEO)

"Late Late Show" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. EST on CBS) host Craig Ferguson was so mock-irritated by the way his guest Susan Sarandon was fiddling with her dress that he told her to "just take the thing off!"

That led Sarandon to reminisce about the reaction of her three children to her occasional onscreen semi-nudity. Young actresses thinking of baring all in the name of art, take note!

A few years ago, an event was held to honor Sarandon at Lincoln Center in New York City.

She took her kids along with her, but when certain images of the actress were shown -- "they weren't really nudity, but you could tell something must have happened" -- her sons were aghast.

Afterward, her older son asked Sarandon, "Did it never occur to you that you might have children?" And the younger son told her, "it was great, mom ... but scarring."
