Jason Segel Talks Wardrobe Malfunction At The Oscars On 'Ellen' (VIDEO)

Wardrobe malfunctions tend to happen to women, just because we ladyfolk have much fussier clothes to work with: peekaboo necklines, wily zippers and (eek!) totally sheer dresses.

So we were a little bit jazzed to watch "The Muppet" star Jason Segel revealing on "Ellen" that he suffered a full-body outfit meltdown during the 2012 Oscars.

"My tuxedo self-destructed," Segel tells DeGeneres. "It was perfectly fitted and then slowly, I'm sitting there and just buttons start falling off my tux until my shirt is held together by my bowtie and that it's tucked in. That's it."

"You're not exaggerating?" Ellen clarifies.

"I'm not exaggerating," Segel says. "So then I stood up and applauded for somebody like Morgan Freeman or somebody great, with gravitas, and then I sat back down and, I'm not joking, my pants ripped from my butt to like the bottom of my leg."

The actor swears it was a really nice designer suit. We just hope there was no nip slip.
