Malorie and her sister Cynthia's husband Peter have been at odds for a while now on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (Sun., 9 p.m. EST on Bravo). So it was no real surprise that this continued during an anniversary bash they were both attending. That said, it was completely inappropriate for Peter to put such nasty little passive aggressive digs toward her into his toast.
But perhaps the most difficult time for Malorie was in dealing directly with her sister. Cynthia has come out and told Malorie things about Peter that aren't altogether flattering. And it seems pretty clear she's not completely happy in her marriage, and that may be putting it lightly. Nevertheless, though, she becomes incredibly defensive when Malorie even tries to talk to her anymore.
"This is my life. Live your life," she said when Malorie told her she wanted to say something. Cynthia's indignation continued. "You're not the only one that has something to say, Malorie. Stop being disrespectful."
So finally Malorie just got into her face, and said that Peter should have come and talked to her. All Cynthia seemed to hear was Peter's name, and the audacity of Malorie to wag her finger in her sister's face. So she focused on those things.
Clearly not being heard or understood, Malorie broke down during this speech, and ultimately chose to leave. Will these sisters ever come together while Peter is in the picture? Will Peter stay in the picture?
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
