Western Kentucky, a team with a losing record that even struggled attract a large crowd with a dollar-ticket promotion, takes on a Mississippi Valley State squad that had a 17-game winning streak in the regular season for a chance to play Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament.

The Hilltoppers had a miserable start to the season, losing 11 of their first 16 games and even fired head coach Ken McDonald. But, with assistant Ray Harper taking the reins, Western Kentucky finished strong and went on to win the Sun Belt Tournament.

Mississippi Valley State, on the other hand, dominated the Southwestern Athletic Conference, won the conference tournament and even rank 51st in the nation in rebounding.

Will the team with a losing record move on to face Kentucky? Or will the Delta Devils end Western Kentucky's incredible run and enter the 64-team field?
