Detroit Residents Can Help Modify Snyder's Consent Agreement

Gov. Rick Snyder plans a series of town hall meetings in Detroit to educate residents about the city's financial problems and proposed solutions, Snyder's director of urban affairs said today.

Harvey Hollins III, who joined Snyder for a roundtable session with reporters about the Detroit financial crisis and proposed consent agreement, said the governor's office will work with the Detroit NAACP and other groups to organize the meetings.
