Spring is officially in the air and that means Easter isn't far behind. With flowers and trees beginning to bloom, it's definitely a season for renewal and the Easter holidays are the perfect time to celebrate that. With Lent coming to an end, it's time to enjoy lots of traditional foods -- including yeast breads, from symbolic hot cross buns to cinnamon rolls.
You don't need to be an expert baker to make these simple yeast breads. All of the recipes are easy to whip together, but most require two rises, so you'll want to bake them the day before your family gathering (simply reheat in the oven the day you wish to serve). Enjoy the breads for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner -- they're great any time of the day.
