Do you dress your husband or boyfriend in the morning? Surprisingly (or perhaps not), you're not the only one. According to a survey conducted by Style Pilot, half of the 1,000 men who responded admitted that their partner dresses them. This trend is not limited to merely helping to tie a bow-tie for special occasions; two-thirds confessed that their partner picks out their clothes on a daily basis. Perhaps the most interesting finding from the survey is that three-tenths of the men surveyed confessed that they wear clothes bought for them by a mother or mother-in-law.
The Daily Mail suggests that men allow their female counterparts to dress them because men do not enjoy shopping, but also because they are self-conscious about their sense of style. The study also reveals that 7% of the men admitted that they are embarrassed by their clothes and 12% even thought that their clothes had held them back.
On a related note, for Valentine's Day, we turned the table on the men and had three guys give their wife or girlfriend a makeover and these were the results. We thought the men did a pretty good job playing stylist. But, are you surprised so many men are dressed by the women in their lives?
