Did Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy secretly get married? Rumors were swirling recently that the couple went and tied the knot -- Natalie Portman style -- after Hudson's mom, Goldie Hawn, reportedly spilled the beans. However, now Hawn is setting the record straight on Twitter about her comments, which she said were "twisted."
Hudson and Bellamy got engaged in 2011, but when Hawn was quoted in the U.K.'s Evening Standard referring to her daughter's marriage, it caused many to wonder if the couple had quietly married.
"When my daughter Kate married an English rock star [Matt Bellamy] it didn’t worry me; all that matters is that the relationship is a good one," Hawn reportedly told the Evening Standard.
However, Hawn clarified her remark on Twitter, putting the rumors to rest.
"Darling once again twisted the truth. They aren't married," Hawn tweeted early Tuesday morning after a follower asked her about her comment.
So it seems Hudson and Bellamy, who welcomed their son, Bing, last summer, haven't tied the knot just yet.
Though they may be shy when it comes to discussing their relationship, Hudson certainly wasn't shy about showing off her bikini body in Cancun, Mexico, where she was celebrating billionaire Sir Philip Green's 60th birthday.
