"The O.C." actress Mischa Barton sort of fell off the Hollywood radar for a few years after her character got killed off of the hit Fox show. (Sniffle.)
But Barton has embarked on an uphill ski back to fashion scenedom lately, donning bikinis and wearing realllllly sheer shirts. She even got a makeover from June Ambrose on Vh-1's "Styled By June."
And now Mischa, who's had her own line of handbags since 2008, is dipping her toe back into fashion entrepreneurship with her new clothing and other accoutrements line, priced from $60 and up. Dubbed "Mischa's Place," Barton's new goods debuted online and include apparel, cosmetics, accessories and bath products. (Her website calls the collection an "eclectic Haven of Style.")
Overall, Mischa's sartorial eye skews toward cute embellished basics. Some highlights include $225 band jackets, "crackle" leggings for $100 and the "Mischa Signature" jacket, a $310 (and cute!) embroidered sleeves creation that's currently sold out.
But Barton isn't stopping with e-commerce. She's supposedly set to open her "Mischa Barton" flagship store in London at Spitalfields Market this spring.
