82-Year-Old Golfer, Pat Cooke, Sinks Hole-in-One At Florida Tournament (VIDEO)

She might be 82, but that's not going to stop Pat Cooke from wowing on the golf course.

This week, at a tournament in Jupiter, Fla., the octogenarian made her first hole-in-one -- the result of a perfect 130-yard shot at the Golf Club Of Jupiter, ABC News reports.

"It was a nice tee shot. It was beautiful, and it dropped right by the pin and I said to the girls, 'I think we might be able to get a birdie on that one,'" she said.

But when Cooke arrived at the green, there was no ball to be found.

"It was in the hole," she said.

The New Hampshire native, who splits her time between Florida and New England, told WMUR that she has been an avid golfer for many years.

When asked about her age, Cooke said that she tries not to dwell on it too much.

"Oh, I think about it a lot -- and then I forget about it," she said.

Though no cameras were around that day to capture the shot of her life, Cooke said that her hole-in-one is not something she will soon forget.

"When you get a hole-in-one at my age, that's a happening," she said. "That was really special, unexpected and special."
