'American Horror Story': Adam Levine Confirms Season 2 Role

Adam Levine Confirms 'American Horror Story' Role

"American Horror Story" and Adam Levine: A match made in terrifying heaven? "The Voice" judge and Maroon 5 frontman confirmed he's involved with Season 2 of the hit FX drama... sort of.

However, Levine didn't reveal many details. "I don't know how much I can divulge, because Ryan [Murphy, the creator] keeps it very under wraps," he said. "It's going to be fun and I told him I didn't really know what I was doing, but he didn’t seem to care. So, I'm going to go and just try to be acting. I think I'm going to be playing myself, so hopefully it will be easy."

Playing himself? EW broke the original casting news, and the site pegged Levine as being one part of a "contemporary character and half of a couple called 'The Lovers.'" Confirmed Season 2 cast members include Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe.

Levine isn't the first reality star Murphy has been keen on casting in an acting role. "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes has appeared in multiple episodes of Murphy's "Glee" and recently joined the cast of his new pilot "The New Normal."
