'Ax Men': Two Explosions Lead To One Fire, One Firing

It was an explosive installment of "Ax Men" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on History) this week, with two different kinds of explosions rocking the crew. The most dangerous was when five gallons of gasoline exploded on one of the boats. That said, some of the fans cried foul about that scene on the show's Facebook page.

Ken Schaffer wrote, "Anyone else notice something fishy about Uncle Bucks boat engine fire? Camera was on the engine, you could hear the engine trying to start, clearly, but the flywheel wasn't turning? Hmmm, can you say rigged for ratings!" Another commenter, Vicki Fox, concurred, breaking down some questionable bits in that scene.

There was no rigging of the second explosion, though there were plenty of beeps. Greenhorn Josh did not handle himself well after finding out his credit card had been mischarged at the motel. A lapse in judgment and decorum that ultimately cost him his job.
