Calvin Klein For Macy's Capsule Collection On The Way! (PHOTOS)

Calvin Klein To Do Macy's Capsule Collection

You can already find plenty of Calvin Klein gear at Macy's -- a colorblock dress, a floral blouse, maybe a pair of cuffed denim bermuda shorts. But the rich minimalist fashion of Francisco Costa's Calvin Klein runway is not available for those paying a Macy's price... until now.

Costa will be creating a Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein capsule collection for the department store, reports Women's Wear Daily, allowing the masses access not to the Calvin Klein name (which they already have) but to Costa's covetable designs.

"We obviously have a huge distribution of Calvin Klein products but we do not carry the [designer] collection that Francisco creates," Martine Reardon, Macy’ executive vice president of marketing, told WWD. "Unfortunately, those price points are not within Macy’s price points.”

Macys' new "A Magical Journey to Brasil" promotion, however, provided the perfect opportunity for the Brazilian designer to take a jab at a budget-friendly line. Costa's sleek dresses, the kind favored by Claire Danes and Gwyneth Paltrow (and Emma Stone, that one glorious time!) on the red carpet, will be available in the $135-$180 price range.

The two-month capsule collection kicks off on May 15. Until then, start fantasizing: what perfect jersey dress are you craving for spring? Whet your appetite with Costa's most recent collection for Calvin Klein, Fall 2012, below and read more at WWD.com.
