County Health Report: Wayne Lands At Bottom, Washnetaw Near Top

One of Michigan's most rural counties now shares an unwanted distinction with the state's most populous: very poor health outcomes, according to a report released today.

Ontonagon and Wayne counties now rest at the bottom -- 82 and 81 respectively -- in the third county rankings by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a health care philanthropy, and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.
