J. Crew x CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Collaboration Is On Its Way (PHOTOS)

PHOTO: J. Crew Reveals Its Newest Collaboration!

Pamela Love and Creatures of the Wind may not have won the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, but getting a line at J. Crew is a pretty sweet consolation prize.

The two design finalists, as well as winner Joseph Altuzarra, have created capsule collections with the all-American retailer. For the project, each designer put a preppy twist on their own signatures: espadrilles, pencil skirts, twinsets and some distressed denim all find their way into the collections.

The capsules, which will all be available at wallet-friendly J. Crew prices, are being released one at a time, with Altuzarra's hitting stores next week.

Getting a J. Crew collab isn't a guaranteed part of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, which was started in 2004 with Proenza Schouler as the first winner. But as CFDA president Diane Von Furstenberg said at the awards ceremony in November, "Once in the Fashion Fund, we will continue to guide you and protect you." Getting you on J. Crew clothing racks certainly qualifies.

Below, three Voguettes have styled themselves in some J. Crew x CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund pieces. Head to Vogue.com to see more photos... and keep an eagle eye on JCrew.com for the collections' release. Will you be snapping these up?
