What You'll Need:
Mason jar
Two large pillar candles
A wick
A large pot
Oven mitts
Tape

How To Make It:
1. First, cut your jar in half using a glass-cutting kit. (Or, for a unique method that involves no special tools, visit Tick-Tock Vintage.)
2. Wearing oven mitts, light the yarn on fire. Rotate the jar so that the entire string is lit.
3. After 40 seconds or so, dunk the jar in ice water. It should split into two around where the string is tied.
4. Tape the jar back together where it split.
5. Melt your two candles in a pot over the stove.
6. Dip the bottom of your wick in the hot wax and stick it to the bottom of the jar.
7. Pour the hot melted wax into the jar. Keep the jar in ice water (make sure the wax doesn't get wet) to help the wax set.
8. When the wax has completely cooled, remove the tape and pull the jar off your candle.
