King's Troop Royal Horse 'Tango' Kisses Dog 'Lord Percy' At Major General's Inspection In Hyde Park, London (PHOTOS)

LOOK: A Horse And Puppy Smooching

Captured in these adorable photographs is proof that a dog can be a horse's best friend too.

On April 19th, prior to the Major General's Inspection in Hyde Park, London, in preparation for the 2012 State Ceremonial, Captain Owen Beynon Brown of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery introduced his dog 'Lord Percy' to horse 'Tango', MSNBC reports.

Getting a smooch and nibble on his cute schnoz, Lord Percy looked like he was enjoying all the horsing around.

It's not all frolicking fun for these royal horses, however.

With 54 riders and 72 horses, the King's Troop will be taking part in several important ceremonial roles in 2012 including the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics.
