Mile End Delicatessen Crew Makes Pilgrimage To Russ & Daughters, Sammy's Roumanian (VIDEO)

WATCH: Mile End Crew's Drunken Tour Of NYC's Best Jewish Restaurants

Boerum Hill's Mile End Delicatessen has quickly ascended the ranks of New York's best Jewish restaurants since opening in January 2010, serving up Montreal bagels with a schmear, smoked meats and other classic Jewish dishes.

Vice stopped by to sample the Montreal-styled cuisine and then embarked on a pilgrimage to the city's other great New York Jewish restaurants with Mile End owner Noah Bernamoff, staff and friends.

Watch above as they sample caviar in a soft egg scramble on challah bread at Russ & Daughters in the LES, then get heckled by keyboard player and comedian Dani Luv whilst munching on chopped liver and tenderloin steaks at Sammy's Roumanian Steakhouse.

Also, there are many, many shots of vodka.

It all ends up back at Mile End, where Bernamoff, to his friends' drunken delight, whips up one of the most epic bowls of poutine we've ever seen. Warning: you will want a reuben.
