"House" (Mon., 9 p.m. ET on Fox) saved its latest gut kick for the closing moments of an episode that was already filled with plenty of heart and emotion. The fun flirtation -- with plenty of meddling on the part of Dr. House -- between Park and Chase reached a level of mutual sex dreams, but it was House's own sex life that hit a crossroads.
Fans already knew that he'd been throwing away those naturalization letters so his wife would stick around a little longer and maybe fall in love with him, too, but this week she found out as well. And it was, of course, at the worst possible moment. Just as his feelings were starting to be reciprocated. There may yet be hope for these two, but she walked out on him this week.
As if that wasn't enough, when he walked in to commiserate with Wilson, his friend had some shocking news of his own. "I have cancer," Wilson told him. "I didn't want to tell you until I had it confirmed."
