Police searching for a missing girl in Tucson, Ariz., hope that surveillance cameras on neighboring homes and businesses could yield clues.
ABC News reported that Tucson police seeking leads into the disappearance of 6-year-old Isabel Celis distributed questionnaires to her neighbors. The forms asked if they have security cameras or heard noises last Friday night, the last time Isabel's parents reported seeing her.
Investigators got their hands on footage from a camera pointed directly at the Celis home from about 225 feet away, ABC News reported. They're also interested in several nearby businesses equipped with cameras that might be helpful.
Sergio Celis reported his 6-year-old daughter missing at 8 a.m. Saturday morning after going into her room and finding she was gone. The window was open and its screen had been removed.
Today, Sergio and Rebecca Celis publicly and pleaded for their daughter to be returned.
"We are increasing the reward," said Sergio Celis, according to KVOA. "Just please, please, to the person or persons who have Isabel: tell us your demands. Tell us what you want. We will do anything for her."
Yesterday, police said they're reducing the search for the girl as the case transforms into an investigation.
The FBI pitched in on Monday by sending two dogs to the family's home. One was a cadaver-sniffing canine and the other was trained for search and rescue. A behavioral expert from the FBI has also interviewed the family.
